Fall is in the air and definitely in the Elgin Public Library. With the help of Mrs. Borer’s fifth grade class, the library has made some changes. The fifth grade class of Elgin Public School came to the library Friday, September 9, to help decorate for the season. You will need to come to the library to check us out. Along with the decorations we also have some new books. You will now find A Great Reckoning by Louise Penny and Downfall by J. A. Jance on the shelves. Upcoming events planned at the library include Book Club which will be held Wednesday, September 21, at 4:00 P.M. Also this month an open house is being planned for Wednesday, September 28 from 1:00 – 7:00. More details on the open house will be coming later.
