Our book for September will be La’s Orchestra by Alexander McCall Smith. Books should arrive by August 20. We have limited copies so will be sharing. Anyone who would like to read the book is welcome. We will meet to discuss it on Wednesday, September 25 at 4:00.
The Elgin Library Foundation is sponsoring an Adult Reading Challenge from September until February. To join the challenge a one time fee of $20 is required. Payment of this fee enters your name into a drawing to take place February 28, 2014. During the six month time period, each time you finish a book from Elgin Public Library you may enter your name again. The more you read the more chances you have to win the prize, an iPad! But remember it only takes one entry to win and you will be donating to a good cause-your local library!
