The theme this year is “Libraries Rock!” Students of all ages are invited to read! This summer we will keep track of the minutes you read and have a program or two along the way! Attached to this letter is a registration form. Please complete it and return it to the library if you wish to participate in the summer reading program. Each reader also has the opportunity to participate in the Norfolk Daily News summer reading program which focuses on reading newspapers. This 4 week program begins Monday, June 4 and runs through Saturday, June 30, 2018. Free copies of the Norfolk Daily News will be at the library.
STORY TIME
Young children from the ages of three to six are invited to story time on Monday and Wednesday mornings beginning June 4 and lasting until July 11th. Story time will be from 10:00-10:45. If you have young visitors in your home they are welcome to come too!
ACTIVITY TIME
Children who have completed grades 2-5 are invited to come on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 for activities which may include plays, games, art projects, etc. Activity time will last about 1 hour and will start on Thursday, June 7 and end on July 12.
